The Newton Falls Sports and Recreation Club is situated in Cranberry Lake and Newton Falls, St Lawrence County New York. Boasting over 10,000 acres of prestine hunting, fishing, and ATVing and camping. With members from all over the United states, from Alaska to just up the road, there is a great comradery with members. |
Trails: Over 50 miles of trails to explore! Diverse terrain to enjoy on foot, horseback, bike, atv, or snowmobile. With every season comes new views. Water: Enjoy the beautiful Oswegatchie River and it's many tributaries. These prestine waters offer swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, or paddleboating. The club maintains several boat launches for ease of access. Rod & Reel or fly fishing abound within the club. Whether it's trout, bass, walleye, perch, or northern pike you're after, ample miles of streams, rivers, and ponds connect. Moosehead, Little Moosehead, and Chaumont Ponds, the quiet bays of the Oswegatchie and it's attending feeder streams- a thousand enticing places to cast a line! Woods: Native pine, hemlock and hardwoods abound. For the nature lover, this is the classic observatory. High timberland becomes low marsh and open meadow closes back into heavily wooded, granite strewn forest. Study it cloaked in winter snow, unfurling soft green tendrils of new life in spring or in beautiful, vibrant colors of autumn! Camping: Whatever your style of camping, from bedroll and tent to full blown RV, we have a spot for you! Unlimited campsites are available. Rehash the days adventures while relaxing by the evening campfire, listening to the call of the Loons. |
